My parents kindly gave us a zoo and aquarium pass for Christmas, and we didn't waste any time using both. We had a great day at the zoo in late January as a family. Emma refused to sit in the stroller (something she is doing more frequently these days!) and had a blast exploring.
Just walkin' with mommy... on to the ELEPHANTS! (which emma favored over all the animals, especially the bunnies and chickens! She was terrified of them in their little cages at the "Family Farm")
I think Emma would have made my brother nervous getting so close to the peacock... (story to follow, maybe)

She was running like a maniac!
After we watched the elephant use it's trunk to eat, we got up close to the statue to see where it's mouth is... I can't wait to go back when the weather heats up a bit!
